Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Carsten Moschner
Born in 1965 in Marburg an der Lahn, he enrolled at the University of Karlsruhe after completing his military service for the degree program "Industrial Engineering." Afterwards, he entered the family business, initially in the sales department. He quickly developed a strong interest in critically questioning existing systems in the field of cleanroom clothing. One of the main goals of the resulting optimization steps was increasingly to reconcile technical requirements with comfort for cleanroom clothing.
With the approach of not examining individual technical parameters and product details separately, but understanding and defining cleanroom clothing as a holistic system, he became one of the leading European experts in this field. In numerous publications and in corresponding chapters in technical books, which he supported as a co-author, practical relevance was fundamentally prioritized. Under his leadership, Dastex has grown in recent years to become one of the European market leaders for cleanroom clothing and consumables.
For many years active in the VDI, he now oversees as responsible chairman the newly created guideline sheet 2083, sheet 9.2, which aims to provide decision-making aids for users of so-called cleanroom consumables. The daily handling, definition, and qualification of these cleanroom supply items are intended to be made simpler, more understandable, and more practical.
