Leica Microsystems przedstawia cyfrowy mikroskop Leica DVM6
Zwiększona precyzja i powtarzalność dla zadań obrazowania, pomiarów i analizy
With the new Leica DVM6, Leica Microsystems offers a digital microscope that allows inspection, analysis, and measurement tasks to be carried out safely and reproducibly in quality control, fault analysis, research and development, as well as in forensics. Options for integrated lighting and a planApo-corrected optics ensure high imaging quality. The construction of the Leica DVM6 enables intuitive operation: for example, both tilting the microscope and changing the objectives can be done with one hand. Thanks to the device's coding, the results are reproducible; reports and documentation can be generated at the push of a button.
Georg Schlaffer, Product Manager at Leica Microsystems, says: „With the Leica DVM6, anyone can become a microscopist. The zoom range of 16:1 allows easy navigation within samples, and the microscope can be tilted with one hand. Users can change objectives during operation without refocusing. Routine documentation and reporting tasks are simplified because critical parameters are automatically saved in the images. This makes high sample throughput a breeze.”
In addition to the 16:1 zoom magnification, the Leica DVM6 features three objectives covering a magnification range from 10x to 2,350x and resolving sample details down to a size of 0.4 micrometers. The objectives are planapochromatically corrected and free of chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range. They can also be changed during operation with one hand. Refocusing is unnecessary, allowing users to work without interruption. The tiltable microscope head enables viewing samples from any angle between -60 and +60 degrees. By combining different lighting options for various contrast methods, sample details become visible that might otherwise remain undetected without the tilting function.
The Leica DVM6 captures specific parameters and automatically saves them together with the image data. For the Leica DVM6, these encoded parameters include, among others, the objective, camera, and lighting settings, the position and rotation angle of the stage, and the tilt angle. These parameters can be retrieved or restored at any time. The coding facilitates reproducibility and ensures a more efficient workflow. Documentation and reports can be generated at the push of a button.
