NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI introduces the NOVA 5eT series of electric injection molding machines in Germany and expands its service
Energy-efficient machines, intelligent process control, and IoT manufacturing technology help plastics processors achieve zero-defect production and increased efficiency more quickly
NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI is advancing its expansion in Germany. With the market launch of the fully electric injection molding machine series NOVA 5eT, the Japanese-Italian manufacturer is focusing on intelligent, sustainable, and connected plastics production and aims to unlock potentials in medical technology and the E&E industry. At the same time, the nationwide service network is being expanded to better support customers. At Fakuma 2026, NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI will present two injection molding machines with integrated automation.
NOVA 5eT: Fully electric precision for intelligent and sustainable production
After the world premiere at K 2025 and very positive feedback in many European countries, NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI is now introducing its latest generation of fully electric injection molding machines in Germany. “The NOVA 5eT combines energy-efficient technology, intelligent process control, and IoT manufacturing expertise. The focus is on minimizing environmental impact, highly efficient molding, and supporting intelligent injection molding through IoT,” explains Thomas Strecker, Head of Business Development at NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI in Germany. The NOVA 5eT strengthens intelligent factories with powerful technology. A highly dynamic clamping unit allows for fast cycles. Precise guidance and optimal force application ensure form-preserving and durable performance. Servo-electric drives guarantee the highest repeat accuracy with tight tolerances, and a swiveling injection unit facilitates cleaning and nozzle changes. Despite a generously sized tool area, the footprint remains very compact.
Smart Factory & IoT: Automated production cells from a single source
“Our advantage lies in automation, which we develop and integrate ourselves through our subsidiary Sytrama. This allows us to realize complete production cells that also cover subsequent processes such as parts supply, loading, quality control, labeling, stacking, and packaging,” emphasizes Strecker. Such system solutions are suitable for electrical and electronic applications (E&E). With intelligent software and networking solutions, NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI makes it easier for users to enter a digitally connected circular economy. “Our framework concept N-Constellation makes the injection molding machine the central network hub. Additional devices and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) are integrated via OPC-UA, enabling continuous and transparent production control. This increases efficiency, quality, and resource conservation,” explains Strecker. The production cell is complemented with further digital tools: The Meltmaster optimizes injection molding conditions and analyzes plasticization. An automated material change function accelerates color and material switches and reduces material consumption during cleaning. The N-QR Scan supports 2D-based mold part management. The PQ-Manager, a quality and production management system, records Waveform Monitor (WFM) data in real-time and supports remote monitoring.
Comprehensive service coverage in Germany
Alongside its product offensive, NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI is strategically expanding its service network in Germany. “In Northern Germany, the ISS Schildmann team supports our customers, while in Southern Germany, this is handled by the A4-Solutions team. For Central Germany, we are in advanced discussions with another partner,” explains Strecker. All partners bring deep expertise in injection molding machines and automation. They also ensure reliable operation of production facilities through preventive maintenance. “This way, we guarantee our customers fast, competent, and comprehensive service,” emphasizes Strecker.
Fakuma 2026: Applications for medical technology and packaging
In October, NEGRI BOSSI NISSEI will present itself at Fakuma in Friedrichshafen. On a 160 m² exhibition space, the company will showcase two injection molding machines with automation solutions from its own house, producing applications from the packaging and medical technology sectors.
