EFA-SmartBuilding: New possibilities for building automation and monitoring

The digital solution EFA-SmartBuilding from EFAFLEX connects the rapid roll-up doors with existing building management systems that offer automation capabilities. Processes and workflows can be automated and monitored.

Communication via Modbus

Communication takes place via the Modbus TCP/IP connection, which operates without internet access, instead relying on Ethernet and Wi-Fi. With this solution, status information of the door can be retrieved, enabling preventive maintenance and thereby minimizing downtime. The data structure is highly flexible in configuration and secured with the highest security standards.

The smart service application from EFAFLEX allows downtime to be minimized. Various actions can be controlled flexibly, such as opening the door, disabling open impulses, or the membrane keypad at the door.

The prerequisite for using EFA-SmartBuilding is an EFA-TRONIC® door control and the equipment of the installed doors with the EFA-SmartConnect® module.
